More on Registering Guns and Automobiles
One of the excuses for not moving forward on background checks is that it would put an undue burden on family members or close friends who might want to transfer a gun from one party to another. As it happens, my daughter and I are about to swap cars. We will have to exchange titles to the cars and re-register them in our own names and, of course, change the insurance. It's never crossed my mind that the government might want to take my car away, even though it could have a para military purpose if I decided to engage in terrorism or join a revolutionary movement. What is this paranoia about the government and guns? Can't anyone remember that we are the government?
